so how much pad taper is normal?
2 track days on an 18mm Ferodo DS1.11 (the rear 2500s are 1mm off the backing plate). it looks like the outside pads on both fronts wore more, and more consistently, and the inside one tapered top to bottom by about 2mm. is any of this concerning, or just "track stuff gonna track stuff?"

The front pads, in terms of taper, look better than what I usually get on my PFC08s.
What seems concerning to me, though, is the overall wear. Are you saying these DS1.11 were brand new and only have 2 track days on them? They are about as thick as the backing plate, which is about time to replace them as the wear accelerates as the pads get thinner. For comparison, I get about 8 - 10 days out of my fronts and about double that on the rears.

Taper seems fine. Can't believe this is where they are after 2 days. Regular HPDE events? You must be stomping that pedal. |

Just don't use "performance" pads, go for Pagids or PFCs. It's normal to have different wear outside and inside. Check your pads at the end of each day both ways even if they look OK outside, especially when outside get low.
