There are several low mileage advertised for $99k that are not selling.
Reality is I would rather pay $99k for a 911 964 Turbo.

There’s one for sale for $13.5k in SoFlo with 144k miles. 5.5k miles? I would ask the world!

Here's mine. Lots of mods and getting an S52 as we speak. Definitely not worth much but it's a drivers car. I plan to keep it forever and enjoy it

I live in the same area as that car, never seen it at any of the euro car shows or the cars and coffee, what a shame

Its a whole lot of car for sure, but actually not a good place to put your money today, in 2020, 17400 of these M3's assembled, dinky little four pot producing 200hp. Have one back in the 1990s, same colour coincidently, did not stay long with me. Know that they can be set up to handle better, as proven with the circuit history. Love the N/A six cylinder S50, S52, S54 N52 engined cars and now, lurking in the wings a S65 comp spec E92 M3.There are a ton of other cars around that represent far more bang for your buck.
Just my two cents worth, the hyperbole is cheap, time for a bit of reality guys.

BMW should go back to this design language and modernize it a bit, not screw it up.

What a waste.

No matter how much this sells for—-the owner who had it never enjoyed it.

Putting resale value over living.

Gotta agree, cars are meant to be driven. Drive them and enjoy the ride.

Yes, and paintings should be enjoyed to look at, not put away in some safe.

Just how the world of crazy rich works.

Why have it, if you don't drive it? If it's an investment, probably do better in the stick market with the right plays.

The counter-argument to the comments above is that many rich collectors/enthusiasts have more than one such car.

Sure, they may pamper and store a few of them, but you don't know their situation. You can't assume they possess only one e30 M3 in their arsenal. For all we know, they could be driving an Evo 2 on a daily basis.

So it's had one of the front fenders refinished, refinished rear fender (paint thickness), and new clutch components on a 8,100-mile 30 year old car. The muffler is not original (BMW exhaust systems rarely rust out). New front splash shield and fender liners? Why?

$120K. No.

If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

Here's mine. It sat for too long without being driven and I knew I would never forgive myself if I didn't enjoy it for what it's built for. It is fun on the street but slow by modern standards, it truly shines on the racetrack.

I would take yours over a 5K mile example every time. Wouldn't feel bad driving the p!ss out of it for the rest of my life.
