Battery coding for 2008 m3

I have a 2008 m3 with a battery going bad. I purchase a 1 month old interstate MT5-49/H8 battery.

My understanding is that I have to code my car for this replacement battery or else I will have random codes popping up for my car.

Does anyone know where I can code my car or can help me out code my car?

I am local around Los Angeles/Burbank/Glendale/Pasadena

Thanks in advance for any info

txt me at 818-913-five3zero4 if you can help a brother out.

You have everything under control, eventhough you drive an BMW

No big deal brother, many of us here use Carly.

Old thread but I though it's pretty well established that Carly does NOT reset the battery.
Not sure about Bimmercode.

Take it for what it's worth but last I read it works great on some models (worked great on my E70). Other models like my M3, it works but is unable to write the fact it did register a new battery and at what mileage. So when you go check it won't show a new battery registry. Even though the new battery is registered.

So it does code it but just can't show that it got coded?
How do people know it got coded?T
Thanks for the heads up!
