Off topic but you guys used to sell/paint a challenge harness bar for the e92 m3. Not bringing that back by chance are you?

replace that BS flange joint with a slip joint or vband and you'll sell alot more of them.

flange joints are notorious for creating leaks with repeated heat expansion.

Sorry we don't have plans at the moment to bring it back.

I'll look into a better solution for the connection.

Is sport a straight bolt on? I am in for the sport. Any prices yet? Also power gains? I am close to doing test pipes and tune just because of price and power.

Sport will be 100% bolt-on. In regards to pricing Challenge was selling it for $1795.00 a few years ago. We are hoping to keep all retail pricing the same pending material cost.

Let me see if we have some older dyno runs. There might even be some on bimmerpost.

Those are the round obd1 Vibrant cats. They are a good cat, 200 cell but are not rated for forced induction. Have to step up to the Gesi cats for that. They are 900 just for the cats, might as well get hjs at that point.
Would be nice if INd would offer the xpipe with both cats just for those that have a SC

Hands down best x-pipe. Sound is like no other when paired with an exhaust.

After the standard production run is complete we can look into a custom cat for SC cars and a titanium X-pipe

Truly the best X-pipe for the E9x M3 that offers options for customers based on the rear muffler they would like to run.

Brackets and flanges are being made right now. I'll update this thread when production starts.

Titanium to match an Akrapovic system. Now only if it was cheaper than Akra then they'd be cooking with peanut oil, definitely got my attention now.

Does the Street model just eliminate secondaries?

$1800 is a bit steep for Vibrant-equipped pipes, no? I reckon Evolve was about that price and they use HJS cats.

Thanks that would be very beneficial and something I would rather do personally. Not sure how others feel. I like the convenience of taking them off if needed and going back stock. Plus price is important I feel in this market. So many options and it needs to be close to comparable products with equal or better performance gains. Currently test pipes and tunes are an exceptional value for the hp/tq gains in my opinion. Another is you know how much everyone loves IND products and service. I wish I would of paid the piper for Akra evolution when they were made for the E90. Or at least the mid pipe.

PS please let me know when available if possible. Did I miss if we need stage II programming update to extract full power?

Going to do a run of SS first. Once SS production is moving I'll make a specific titanium X-pipe similar to the Akra but with the correct amount of o2 bungs.

I don't consider Vibrant "cheap" and is used by many quality manufactures now. Some of the biggest names in the industry use vibrant parts but they just don't advertise it. The Evolve X-pipe is made by SS and since they are in Europe HJS is a better option.

Please lord dont include the H at the front of the pipe. That is a horrible design flaw, not only does it knock torque out of the engine but that is the main contributor to the drone that the akra has at cruising rpm

These 200 cell Vibrant cats cost roughly $120 a piece. They also look identical to Magnaflow, but maybe they are somewhat different "deeper inside".

HJS is not even close with its price tag, one cat costs over 350€.
Catted evolve xpipe costs about 1k more than challenge IIRC.

I had the Challenge Sport HFC X pipe paired with a Meisterchaft GT on my previous M and it produced the best E9X exhaust note I’ve heard to date. The big factor was the x pipe. So mad at myself for selling it, and should have known I was going to be back in another E9X M3.

I’ll take one as soon as they are available.

We are in the process of having the piping bent. After that will be the welding process. I want to make sure that we take time and release a part that is even better than previous one. I already went with better bolts so that we could eliminate a washer and a thicker gasket.

Pricing out some titanium tubing now.....
