Stock 360x30 rotor weighs in right around 22.8 lbs

ECS Rotor 382x36 rotor for this BBK weigh in right around 27 lbs.

HERE is a link to the wheel fitment template, some wheels will clear some will not, it all depends upon barrel design.

Thanks I'll give this a try

Hahahah they're killing me. I even told the guy there were plenty of people with ZCP wheels. All it's gonna take is one dude with the wrong attitude to get the kit and find out there's less than 2mm of clearance and throw a giant fit over the internet.

Might also want to proofread the product description on the website. Style 229 wheels...veins instead of vanes... Etc.

2900 bucks before shipping.

Right now, it's 26xx and shipping is free. Now's the time to get up on it!

I love this kit. I was sitting on the sidelines at the big brake kits at $6k....but this is VERY attractive. If the ECS team could offer matching rear calipers to fit on stock rotors I would be in heaven!

I saw the front rotors are heavier...does any know how the caliper weights compare?

And for those of you (us) considering a powder coat option, one of the other threads on here recommended these guys: http://thepowdercoater.com/

I'm sure ECS can tune in again about weights, but the OEM calipers are pigs, lol. Even loaded with pads, pins and the tension clip, the M5 calipers are still significantly lighter. Still, I'm gonna wait for ECS to chime in for the specifics.

Unless the M5 calipers are significantly lighter than other Brembo 6-pots, this kit is heavier than stock by a couple pounds per corner

No doubt about that.

That's a pretty decent trade off for about a grand less than the equivalent Brembo kit I reckon

Looks great.

That is a nice kit, but the StopTech ST60 kit is $2700 and I would go with that instead.

It is a proven BBK.

The ST60 380mm kit is 2700 bucks? Where?

I'm not being a dick, I'm actually curious. I've seen that kit for well over 3 grand.

It's definitely not a bad trade off - plus, I wanted blue for calipers anyway

I am curious, though, if ECS will eventually change rotor designs to shave a little more weight.

There's such a huge variance in price, I wonder why. If you look at the same kit in Silver, it's 3500 dollars.

EDIT: For reference, this is the kit I'm talking about. That's almost 800 dollars different for the same kit you posted. Other than the last two part numbers, I don't see why this is more expensive.

I am pretty sure any vendor in the forum will match the price I posted. I have been through this before.

No, I get that part and I've done the same, too, but I mean the same kit on the same site - just in a different color - is 700 dollars more. I was curious why.

Numbers difference in the stoptech is just slot or drilled and color. Also Tuner motorsports is cheaper then what is posted also.

700 bucks for color That's awesome. May as well have them PC'ed yourself once they're delivered.

silver is one of the standard colors, no clue why that site is so much more expensive, the only thing that changes price is rotor design. or custom color

Might be clearance or something on the kits they have in stock.
