Four Beeps
My daughter says my car must be haunted by ghosts because of this mysterious new phenomenon - but maybe one of you experts can help provide some debugging tips.
My car recently started occasionally emitting 4 beeps. I comes from perhaps the speakers or the dash somewhere. Beep ... Beep ... Beep ... Beeeeeep. These 4 beeps seem to only sound once per each drive. Not every drive, but also never repeatedly during one drive. (I drive about 20 minutes each way to work and back each day). And not at any consistent time like after startup or anything. It seems to be completely random when these beeps will occur. There is no dashboard warning message, SES light, or error code on the scan tool after the beeps. I don't detect any symptom or side effect either before or after the beeps. The beeps were not always there. I've owned this car for about 5 years and the beeps only started in the past couple months. They seem to have started after I replaced the engine wiring harness. Although these beeps don't really cause me any problem, they are mildly annoying and rather mysterious. If anyone has a debugging tip I'd appreciate it.

Lol my car also does this.. has done ever since I've owned it. Same beep as for voice command, just goes off at random times but four beeps like you said with the last beep a little more exaggerated, comes thru the speakers. Just BMW things. 🤷*♂️
Edit : quick google says hourly chime which can be turned off thru settings
