▀▄ eas | Space Gray e90 M3 - Simplicity is key.

Not all of our customers come to us for bigger wheels, lower suspension and louder exhausts. Some people just want to keep their M3 the way it rolled off the factory line with a few minimalistic tweaks here and there.

This Space Gray e90 M3 was the perfect example of such a car. By replacing the chrome kidney grills and side grills with OEM BMW "black chrome" grills, the car remains OEM BMW but it doesn't remain completely stock. The car looks instantly more aggressive and exclusive with these installed.

The next upgrade on the list was the installation of the Euro Visors. In comparison to the US Spec visors there is a night and day difference between the two. Not only do you get rid of the giant yellow warning stickers, but the material used on the Euro visors is the same material found on the headliner. The US Spec visors' leather texture seems "cheap" when placed side by side.

These mods may be subtle, especially by forum standards, but the end result result is an undeniably clean e90 M3. Sometimes less is more.

Here's the car in it's 100% stock form:

Completed:

Enjoy.

I agree on the mirror, BMW totally cheaped out. When I traded in my '08 for my '11, I was shocked to see how they put those pleather visors. Terrible.

Nothing wrong with a stock M!

That's shuggy's car Here's a (terrible) pic of our two M3s. You can tell that he has that killer Huper Optik tint in some of Anthony's pictures. It looks really nice in person:

Painted reflector would cap it off. I like the understated mods.

Painted reflectors, as mentioned above, and some 12/10mm spacers.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
