bmwusa.com Track my BMW M3 - populated options, what if one does not show

Can now see my E92 M3 in my bmwusa.com I added the car y'day using the Production Number. And overnight the site populated the section:

"Your M3 Coupe Selected Options"



All looks correct except[ the 19s don't show. Now my CA has them in his Excel pricing model, but if the 19s don't show can I assume they have been entered into BMW AG's build system? Has anyone else used this feature on bmwusa and discovered that the 19s don't show up?

I am cautious because a colleague got his E92 with a moonroof when he ordered it w/ a CF roof (I would've been livid - not a minor eff up). He still accepted the car as it was the first M-DCT E92 in this part of the US.

Yes, I guess I will just email the CA - just curious to see if this is typical.

I couldn't see the 19" wheels initially either, though all the other options were there and correct. I emailed BMW from the website, and got the standard boilerplate about the options taking several days to show up correctly (which I already knew from reading this site, but it seemed highly improbable that all the options would be right except for the 19" wheels). I visited the dealership and visually confirmed the ordered options were still correct. The next day the website showed the 19" wheels on my options. Coincidence? Probably, but I felt better. In the ensuing weeks, sometimes the options didn't show at all... I just stopped worrying about it. We'll see in a week or two when the car shows up!

My options seem to populate randomly. Sometimes they are all there, sometimes none of them show up, and occasionally there'll be some missing. I've been tracking the car for nearly a month now.

@roofone now that's crazy, gremlins in the dbase (?) Maybe that's how I mate got his car w/ moon' in lieu of CF. But I suspect in that case the dealer sourced an early Space E92 + M-DCT and guessed that the buyer would not balk to wait for the exact spec.

That's what I'm thinking: all present & correct bar the 19s seems odd.

I will do my final check in mid-May as car goes onto the 'line in week 21.

I'd ask your CA, think it's contingent on when your order is accepted / delivery - here and by BMW AG (for ED). I ordered so far ahead of time, 4+ mths, I did not get a prod no. until about 2m prior to est. delivery date.

You're right: today my options' list had gone AWOL.

One can only surmise that BMW USA is still 'perfecting' the new My Account tracking dbase ....
