Does THC (marijuana) and Adderall mix well?

What are the side effects of smoking marijuana while also having consumed the psycho stimulant drug, Adderall (Adderall taken for medicinal use, NOT for recreation)?

Adderall is not meant to be taken daily, so the interaction between marijuana and Adderall in this case, would only be limited to about 2-3 days out of the week. I'd appreciate any insight you guys might have, thank you.

ask your pharmacist. it should be ok, unless you have a heart condition. because weed will make ur heat beat faster and with a stimulant u could die...

just don't mix the two.

have the THC first, then the aderol.

and then maybe some more THC later on.

Both cannabinoids and amphetamines (It's ADDERALL, not Aderol) have potential of causing euphoria as well as frank psychosis. Since they work on different parts of the brain and on different pathways (cannabinoids act on the cannabinoid receptor [DUH!], while amphetamines work on the dopamine recpetors), they might have additive effects resulting in increase risk of acute psychosis.

Federal law actually trumps state law so even if the state of CA allows the legal use of marijuana for medical purpose, e.g. to relief intractable vomiting due to advance HIV or chemo, the DEA can still bust you, coz it's still a federal violation.

Adderall is medicinal speed. I took it once and didn't sleep a minute in a 24 hour period.

yeah but nobody goes to jail for it unless they grow crazy amounts or grow on federal land... when the dea raids the dispenseries they just take everything but don't prosecute as far as I know...

Adderall not meant to be taken daily? Not sure what your therapist is smoking, but I have a good idea. I've been taking Adderall (or equivalents) since I was about 6.

Adderall mixed with marijuana has been nothing but fun the times I've tried it. It helped keep me calm and helped slow my heart rate (or so it felt, could have been in my head).

You should have no ill effects, unless you're taking an (very) abnormal amount of your medication.

Heh... Adderall is very, very chemically similar to speed. Both are amphetamines, and they basically do the exact same thing. Kinda scary when you think about it.

i used to take adderall (without a perscription) to help me work through papers. afterwards id smoke a bowl to help me pass out. i havent had any problems with it.

it should be no problem. just monitor yourself, and your heart.

a few tips to avoid any problems/minor harm: (merely just suggestions)

- dont take more than the recommended dosage of Adderall.
- ensure to consume something sugary, perhaps a chocolate bar. you want to ensure that your sugar lvl doesnt drop.
- be sure that you are in a calm, comfortable environment. if you are in an area where you feel threatened/unsafe/vulnerable, and get an anxiety attack you will be putting strain on your heart.
- be sure to drink about 10-12 oz of gatorade after you smoke the j, it will help your body by nuroushing it so your body can battle everything efficiently.

now, i really wouldnt be worried about consuming both of them.

but for all you bud smokers, may i reccomened that you all drink 10-12oz of gatorade after each smoke session.

anyways. any more questions, you know how to call my attention. just put THC in title lol.

I doubt any problems would occur. Just be cautious of how you are feeling.

In college we use to take hydrocodone and other muscle relaxers while smoking.

My friends for some reason got the bright idea to crush some up and sprinkle it on top of the weed before hitting the bong. I never saw the point and didn't think it did anything. They thought it did though.

Then again, they also snorted the pills too. Talk about stupid.
