Help! Stoptech rotor hat crack!
Doing prep to instruct at Mid Ohio next weekend and found that my left front rotor hat for my Stoptech trophy ST60R has cracks! Anyone have a spare sitting around or have any recommendations?

Got my spare rotor rings and hats through buybrakes.com a year or so ago. Took over a month to ship. I also needed the brake lines for the ST60 which apparently were out of stock everywhere in the country according to other vendors but they got "the last set" to me the next day. They're pretty responsive over text so check with them.

skip the BS with Stoptech and just get a set of GiroDisc.. Their hats fit ST discs and vise versa.. I'd call them if I were you.

I think Stoptech is having all sorts of issues since being bought by Centrix. I'd get ones from Girodisc.

Thanks for everyone's recommendations. So current status. Talked to Girodisc and they do not make a replacement for the Stoptech hat. They do make one for the oem replacement that is compatible with the stock brakes, but not for a BBK. At this point, Stoptech has either 30 of them or zero, depending on who answers the phone. ETA is November unless they find the 30 again. Didn't really want to start over and invest in a different brand, but I guess we'll see what happens.

Plus, the costs aren't really comparable. I got the ST60 kit a few years ago (2019) and in the last couple of years I've added a backup set of rotor rings, rotor hats, pair of calipers (didn't have time to replace piston seals/boots), and brake lines. The total price of all of that is still less an AP kit and now I won't lose track time waiting for replacement parts. The StopTech kit certainly isn't as good as the AP/Essex kit, but it's still a solid caliper with plenty of brake pad options. The weak part of it is the "street" hardware kit mounting the rotor rings to the hat, but there are alternative hardware kits now that are more track oriented. Also some people have issues with pad knockback but anti-knockback springs help with that.
