Noooooooooooooo!

Okay, that's off my chest.

So, what sorta-kinda-estimate until an M4 Vert arrives? mid-2015?

(gotta make my plans)

I'm thinking that if you wanted an order, it would have needed to be placed 4 - 8 weeks ago. Production ENDING this month would indicate that orders are about 8 weeks out for lead-time. Probably would have needed to order it no later than first week of September to be safe.

Ok Thats what Iwas hoping to hear. At least I got truth from dealer that I could not order one. I found exact car I wanted. I just thought if I ordered it I could have found a dealer willing to get me closer to my last lease of $850 instead of $890. Thanks

Did I have a brain freeze or did I read somewhere on this site? That after recieving and signing for your car you have up to certain miles or 3 days to return. I cant find it anywhere must be a brain freeze.

If you don't want a car after contracting you better not drive it that's for damn sure.

Depends on the State, NJ has a three day policy after you sign the contract, not sure what it is after you take delivery.

I believe I thoroughly enjoyed the E9x M3 generation both in coupe/dct and sedan/zcp/6mt form.
Sure I am going to miss this generation M3s,
the engine was simply the best engine I have ever driven as a daily car.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't that mark the end of the naturally aspirated BMW's?

Indeed.

I got mine in 2008 and drove it like CRAZY up and down the California coast. LOVE LOVE LOVE that car! Hands down the best engine I've ever had the pleasure of owning / driving on a daily basis. It's a shame times are changing, but I guess we have to change with them.

The new M4 has some massive shoes to fill.

I am in nj but screwed cause I drove it home already is that right. The dealer pressured me into it and I knew better. I dont wanna return it just wanna use the 3 day policy to argue with them. I thought it was 3 days or something like under 100 miles on car. They tried telling me they had to pay another dealer for car and need to get me signed right away. I am just real pissed and its all me fault I should know beter

Excellent point - I've been focussing exclusively on fact it is last of naturally-aspirated M cars - but also is for all BMW's (which obviously make it even more special)!
