Well, pedobear is quite the internet sensation. It is surprising when somebody doesn't know who he is

BTW, how many non-M3 owners hang around these parts? I don't want to be the only one

Nah, I'm afraid of my engine exploding lol.

I'm tempted, though. The new JB4 produces some impressive numbers. If I ran a lower map, I'm sure I would be fine, but I don't want to go through the trouble of removing the system every time I go to the dealer. I think the JB4 has a bypass map, but I'm not sure if the dealerships can still pick up on that.

When are you planning to upgrade to an M?

yeah they can pick it up. only if they run ur ECU tho.
the bypass is just map 0 which is stock mode.
umm not sure when i get enough money. i want a small loan and probably looking at getting a 09 E90 white on black. its ganna be hard to find

No plans on upgrading to an M anytime soon. I've only had my 335i for a month.

For the same price that I got my 335i for, I could have got an 08 M3 with limited options and ~40k miles, but instead I got my 335i which is fully loaded (only missing the cold weather package, but the car has heated seats as a stand alone option) and has 17k miles. It is CPO'd and has full warranty/maintenance til 2015 or 100k miles. It was really the best option for me.

2008 E92. It's nice because it is a very late model as well. I believe the build date was Oct 08.

The price was around 37.5k OTD, but don't quote me on that exact amount. It was a gift. I just checked the KBB value and it's 39.5 so the deal was pretty good.

Ha, it was a birthday gift.

I'd like to upgrade the tails, but they aren't on the top of my priority list. Right now, I'm trying to find some new wheels. I've been looking for a good set of used wheels, but nobody is selling anything right now so I'm probably just going to buy a new set. After that, I'm going to look into upgrading my suspension.

Those are the big things. As for some small things, I plan on adding some matte black grills, red cyba scoops, tinting the car, and getting a proper detail (gotta wait for the weather to get better, though haha!).

Maybe I'll get a JB4 during the summer.

I need to come out to one of the local meets. The e9x scene doesn't seem too big in Ventura County, but I have seen some modded ones.

I don't think I've seen your car, either.

I have seen a lightly modded e90 M3 (black) and an AW E92 M3 with black wheels and some aftermarket exhaust.

Or it's possible that we just live on opposite sides of the town so we never cross paths
