2012 e92 M3 - Jerez Black - Finally joining M
Hey all,
Been an owner of BMW since my first car (e46) and have been driving an '09 e90 328i for the last three years. Finally decided to take the leap and go for an e92 M3 that I found down in Florida that looked to carry just about everything I cared about, had a color I was good with and seemed to be in overall good condition. 2012 M3 in Jerez Black DCT 19" Alloys with Michelin Super Sports Cold Weather Premium Everything optionable is on this car save for the ZHP 48K miles/2 owners Overall good condition, nothing broken or loose. Engine is clean, no leaks. Getting another inspection from a separate shop tomorrow, but so far have done highway for 100 miles and took some windy roads out here in KY and she's been running incredibly well. No plans for mods at this time, though I do want to go through with a deep clean/wax and clay in the near future. Considering carbon splitter and tail, maybe side mirror caps as well, though not sure how it'll look with the already dark color. Happy to join the forum with a proper M. Yessir. Slightly lowered with aftermarket coil overs.
Have added a couple things to this car; Lux HIDs, GTS lip and the car has received a full detail. Figured it was time to get it an honest shoot with some high quality lenses/cameras rather than take pics with my Samsung. New pics with a Nikon D700 and several lenses, then some minimal touch-up work thanks to Grisly Next on the list is an interior detail, High kick CF spoiler and CF caps for the side mirrors. |

Looks great! I have E93 Jerez Black, but I have chrome trim around windows/roof and seeing yours with black is making me want to black out the trim so badly! Jerez Black is such a wonderful color in the sunlight.

Also got the interior detailed yesterday, proper-like. You can see a total difference in the steering wheel from years of use being shiny and full of grease and oil, whereas cleaning definitely made it look factory-new. Last edited by Sinner101GR; 09-13-2018 at 10:17 AM.. |

Car looks great, and that detail turned out amazing! Gotta do the same to mine soon.
I have the same sycamore wood trim, not really a fan of it with my fox red interior but it looks great on black!

Was finally able to finish the exterior items on my car. Took forever to source OEM parts for the carbon fiber high kick spoiler and the side mirror caps at a reasonable price, but finally had the chance last week! Gonna have to swap out the front lip I think....scrape quite a lot, lol.
Question; the seller also provided me with the OEM black label M3 logo. Think I should swap? |

Looks great and keep the lip! it doesn't seem too aggressive. Maybe angle more when pulling into driveways?
EDIT: Just saw its already cracked, maybe try splitters?

First major crack that broke the epoxy was from a concrete parking barrier cause dumb. The flexing came from a really, really steep decline and incline that occurred on a route I was driving that involved an old ferry that transports cars over a river. Was not good on that splitter, lol. Had a few other cars just turn away that didn't want to risk it.
