FS: Throttle body actuators
Selling 2 rebuilt actuators, new nylon gears installed and all FETs are tested and/or replaced. They're working for sure because I tested in on the car with the intake plenum removed. I did the first repair on my E92 M3, and started doing this repair for our customers. Here are a pair that's removed from a customer's 11 E92 M3 with 90k km (~52k mile) and he insisted to replaced with 2 new factory actuators for $2600. well here is a pair of working ones with upgraded gears for $1000USD obo including shipping to US/CAD. |

cool the reason why I'm asking is because tischer selling new ones for $544 USD each, if it's rebuilt with original gear, then might as well just order new ones from tischer, if it's upgraded gear, then the price makes sense.

You talking about the upgraded gear to steal? Or just a different plastic compound?

Here is a link directly to the actuator on their web site:
https://www.getbmwparts.com/parts/20...ROL%20ACTUATOR This is the best price I can find at the moment but it does me no good since Tischer won't ship to Canada. Does anyone have a source with equivalent pricing that will ship across the border?

sorry for delay, the gears are made of upgraded nylon materials (both top full-circle gear and the half-circle gear), not original white-ish plastic gears. I do not recommend to use metal gears for this application because the motor gear ( smallest one ) is metal, metal on metal in dry condition would increase wear.
for reference, this is the factory gear set: Last edited by OverRev; 04-29-2017 at 03:58 PM.. |
