This looks absolutely awesome. Good stuff. I think I may go the cheap route and order the black rails and shark fin and then DIY that new 1080 3m glossy carbon vinyl on the roof since my e90 has no sunroof anyway. Something about cutting out my roof bothers me....hat is off to you on this one sir. Looking great!

Question...does the roof leak, creak, or anything weird after install? How does the car handle now?

thanks!

I can speak to this, did the iND roof last summer. No leaks or creaks, car is lighter and sways less.

One thing I did notice and still gets to me every days is the fact that when driving, it sounds like the windows are open, meaning that outside noise enters the cabin much more easily and I catch myself always clicking the window buttons to make sure they are all rolled up.

Thanks! Interesting....wonder if there is supposed to be some kind of lightweight sound deadening or insulation that is supposed to be installed between the roof and liner....hmmmm....thanks!

It might also be that I have yet to change the roof liner to a non-moonroof equipped car as I have a large hole now from where the moonroof used to reside.

I had IND do the installation of my CF roof and have no such issues with noise.. I also have the proper liner with no moon roof.

e92 carbon roof looks amazing when cleaned, clayed and waxed. Like a dark lake surface with no wind.
