is it a problem if car rolling at idle?

I know DCT isn't suppose to be rolling at idle. But I just found out my car could start rolling if I release the brake at red light. I'm pretty sure it's not the slope cuz it won't move if it's in neutral.

DCT will roll if the clutch hasn't been disengaged yet. I don't personally let it to that because its creating unnecessary friction if its slipping the clutch to maintain 1 mph

Yes the DCT and MT will roll forward or back with gravity. There is an automatic hill hold but it only holds the car for 2-3 seconds before rolling.

I believe OP is saying his will roll from a stop on a flat slope. That’s not normal. Is the engine idling at a higher than normal rpm?

Yep, I mean rolling from a stop on a flat slope. Idle looks fine to me. What could be the cause of that??

the ground isnt as flat as you think, doesnt take that much energy to move a car. its a dct, if the trans was moving the car you'd feel it.
