Another thing I noticed with these coilovers recently... even with the GC "street" camber plates with bearing mount... I can hear some noise when turning the wheel while at low speeds / parking. Not quite as loud as the normal spring binding you would hear with some coilovers. I suspect its the bottom of the spring rubbing on that blue plastic ring above the height adjustment collars. It's not very loud but just curious if anyone else with B16s notices this.

anybody running aftermarket sway bay end links with these? i am finally installing today after having these sit for 1.5yrs, and realized i cant run the Bimmerworld end links i bought.

Is there an aftermarket adj end link that is made to work with oem style strut (domed ball joint connector)?

I think you can just get these adapters from Bimmerworld to use their endlinks on OEM style struts:

so I was able to source spherical domed washers to use Aftermarket end links on oem/Bilstein struts. i ordered a few extras, if anybody needs them let me know, $12/shipped for a pair.

i used these to mount Bimmerworld adj end links, worked perfect.

curious how everyone tightening that 19mm nut?

also, just want to confirm, when u go full SOFT, is the dial "raising" up? The blue dial and the blue stop pin collar are confusing to me.

For fronts, i made two full turns from bottom. For rears, i had only two full turns from bottom as well, and is sitting way too high at the moment. Going to make 3 more turns tonight and see what it goes.

Car looks good!

How much space do you have up front between the b16 coilovers and the inside edge of the wheel/tire?

Are you running any spacers?

Thanks.

I'm not running any front spacers, just 12mm on the rear (but I had those prior to the coilovers).

The front is close but I don't see any evidence that it has actually rubbed on the inside. This is after tracking the car as well. I might add a 5mm spacer just for extra clearance but it's not an issue yet.

Keep in mind these are 265/35r18 Federal 595 RS-Pro which are nearly as wide as some other brands in 275.

And here is an updated pic of the car now that it has settled a little.

This thread is about the Damptronic (aka EDC compatible) version, not the B16 PSS manually adjustable ones so you may not find that answer here.

If you really want to track the car the Damptronic is going to be leaving you desiring for more. I had them on my car prior to changing to a MCS 2-way setup and when really pushed you can't compare. For a daily/weekend cruiser though I think the Damptronic is the best option for an EDC equipped car.

Good clearance up front with 265/35/18 Hankook RS4 and 18x9.5 ET25 Titan7 TS-5. Should be able to run 275/35 easily without needing a space. This is with the adjusters set to 3 coils from the bottom.

Reviving an old thread.

Just got this set in and am looking to order some ground control camber plates.

https://groundcontrolstore.com/colle...t-camber-plate

Does anyone know what the spring inner diameter is for the Damptronics?
