My M3 lease deal
Looks like I'm getting a really good deal. Any opinions would be great
M3 Convertible MRSP $77,175 (convenience package, 19 inch rims, Double clutch, heated seats) 36 months 10k miles per year $765 per month $3,217.97 out the door including 1st payment Dealership says I'm getting $261 under invoice which seems right. (he has MACO at $380) My tax is 8.375% Am I missing anything? or is it time to pull the trigger? |

Wow 765 is even lower than what the leftover 2008's were going for. Thats insane.
Are the same discounts being applied to the coupes/sedans as well? -Vin |

Im looking at what the rates were back in April and the residual was 50% instead of todays 67% and the MF was .0024 instead of .0016. That means this car im getting for $765 per month, the EXACT same car in April would have been around $1,250 <-- now thats crazy! now the wait begins!!!!!!!! and |

Great deal -- it looks like you have some amount of cap cost reduction which is lowering the monthly payment (unless that money is being used for MSDs to get you to the dealer buy rate).

Im coming out of a 335i coupe with no nav and paying $765 a month for now. So i look at it that im stepping out of a regular 335i at $765 per month and into an M3 convertible with nav and 19 inch rims for the same payment. Yes i had to throw down a couple of thousand but hey, its an M3 Convertible. The 335i had 15k miles per year by the way... but I see now I don't need that many miles |

If anyone needs a good lease deal on M3, you will get it at BMW of Tenafly 201-568-9000 ask for Michael Lyubimov, very cool kid, he will give you $200 over invoice straight up and will get you approved for best rate on the spot, his dealership has very high approval rating... you won't even have to go to dealership but only when picking up the car... very easy. Many members bought M3 from him and so did I
Make sure to tell him you are a fellow forum member friend of Dimabimmer he will take good care of you Check the link in my sig for photos of my SG M3 ZCP delivery at BMW of Tenafly just 2 months ago

You don't really save much at all if you get more miles at inception,- it all comes down to same price per mile if you go over and have to purchase more at end of your lease.

Based on my lease, if I went with 12k miles instead of 10k miles, my payment would go from $765 to $787 per month which is an extra $22 per month.
$22 x 36 months is $792 i would be paying for 36,000 miles But lets say I only needed 34,500 miles which means I went over my allowed 30,000 by 4,500 miles. I would buy those 4,500 miles for .16 a mile and it comes out to $720 (saving $72). If i only use 32,000 miles, the savings is $472 If i need them, i'll buy them. If I don't need them, I saved some money. Why lock into something that isn't for sure when you can just buy them towards the end of the lease if you do need them? I won't use my car any less being that I have 10k miles because. I'll drive it as if I have 12k miles and if i come up short, I win And of course if you do get to 36,000 miles you end up paying an extra $168. Not the end of the world. You can always add more miles, but you can never get money back for unused miles |

The deal on the convertible is actually better than the coupe right now. The Convertible is $8000+ more and still coming out cheaper on the lease deals due to the high residual and low MF it has right now compared to the coupe and especially to the sedan

Is it a dramatic difference in MF and residual?

A huge difference, especially on residual! On a 12k/year lease:
2011 BMW M3 Coupe 24 Month – Residual 66% of MSRP – .00180 Base Rate 36 Month – Residual 59% of MSRP – .00180 Base Rate 2011 BMW M3 Convertible 24 Month – Residual 72% of MSRP – .00160 Base Rate 36 Month – Residual 66% of MSRP – .00160 Base Rate Source: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=489685
