Dinan vs Eventuri Intake

Which one would you choose and why? I've heard the Eventuri uses a neoprene material designed to be flexible, but may need to be replaced later down the line due to heat exposure. I am not sure if that is the case with Dinan. I'm mainly concerned about fitment and sound. If I were to get the Eventuri I would also purchase the carbon air lid which I've been told does increase sound as carbon fibre does sound different than the thicker plastic.

Any Input would be appreciated. Thanks

Dinan offers no performance increase as Eventuri does. If you're going to spend money on that I'd get the most bang and go with the performance increase. Have you looked at Machet Scnell's intake. Looks like factory but makes the intake scream on WOT.

I've looked into MS but the fitment seems to be a hit or miss. I also want the carbon fibre in the engine bay. Do you have the MS intake? I've heard it has a deeper growl induction sound to it.

Having installed both dinan and eventuri, both fit awesome.

The eventuri neoprene foam can be replaced later. It appears to a standard neoprene foam sold at a crafts store

The Dinan intake has rubber boots as connection points. The eventuri uses a silicone hose

What material does the Dinan intake use? If you had to choose between the two which would you pick? I can't decide..

I do have the Macht Schnell intake. It sounds like it wants to suck in small kids and women at WOT. As far as fitment, you do have to finesse it a bit but I haven't had any problems. I like it cause it blended with the rest of the plastic in the engine. I'm not a huge fan of carbon fiber except in small doses.

I went with Dinan. Trusted company that isn’t making “claims” of increased power from a redesigned tube. The fit and finish is great and it sounds amazing. I wouldn’t be surprised if the performance “increase” was similar across all the major brands if they were tested independently.

Dinan offers no gain for the power, get the eventuri with the lid.

I had both as well. Ditched the Dinan for Eventuri and I liked the Eventuri better. I have since ditched the Eventuri for Karbonius.

I also saw that Eventuri has since made a CF plenum that appears to be a oem looking piece.

Was the Eventuri louder than the Dinan intake? What did you like better?

I wanna see the eventuri plenum. If it fits like their intake it'll be near OEM

I cant See it being worthwhile, an eventuri is $900 plus their lid is $700. They can’t price the plenum less than the eventuri intake system, you may as well buy the Karbonius.

To me they're both under the hood aesthetics like the Dinan strut tower braces.. I don't believe in the performance gain without the full plenum and definitely don't think it's $ well spent:. Just drop in a filter or go FI..

But if I have to pick one it's the eventuri

I think they were about the same sound wise. I think that the Eventuri looked better than the Dinan piece.

They’re nearly the same. Their primary benefit is a smooth flowing elbow and a high flow filter. Eventuri has a little scoop below but also a smaller filter.
6 of one, half dozen of another.
I went Dinan, think it looks cleaner. I haven’t heard Eventuri in person but I’ve read the Dinan is a little louder as well.

Is there any improvements or is it just a OEM spec replacement?

Is the eventuri plenum a new product? First I'm reading/seeing it.
