All I can say is Russia played with all of their heart this cup. They deserved to advance just as much as Croatia. I think even with a loss, Russia has earned respect from the football world. One kick is all that separated these teams.

I'd rather wash dishes for 3 hrs than watch even half of a baseball game.

Jokes aside, I also find that World Cup is the only time I ever remotely enjoy soccer. The one benefit of the USA not qualifying this year is not having to see those dorky bandwagons who try to act all European.

Baseball makes for a good night out if you go to a game (and get hammered), but otherwise it's absolutely useless until October.

Croatia aren't the side they used to be, playing them should be an easier option than playing France.
