do88 dct cooler vent

about to have the cooler installed but after reading through the instructions it seems they want you to heat the inner fender and cut it? Has anyone bought a grill or vent to install there instead? Thanks

Cut several smaller thin long strips out, it’s the same idea.

You could do that and it would probably be nicer, but obviously more work and cost. I did the cut the slots, heat up with heater gun and then bend. It's not difficult and it looks "okay" but it's not really visible once the wheel is on.
