As long as you mix DOT 4/5 with DOT 4/5 you are fine. Do not use DOT 5.1

I don't think that is right. Dot 5 is not compatible. pretty sure dot 5.1 is the upgrade to dot 4.

Yes I just realized I made a mistake. Good catch, thanks for correcting that.

DOT 3, 4, 5.1 are polyethylene glycol based and DOT 5 is silcone based.
