I have a Turner tune. They were great for a long time but once they sold it even the service dept. went downhill. The Alpine tune on the group buy is $500 and def worth it since the Turner tune (which I have from many years ago) is almost double. Also I’d avoid Lou’s. I’m sure the one you went to did a good job but they are independently owned. Any shitty garage can pay and buy the “Lou’s custom exhaust” name and still do the same shit work they’ve been doing under their poor name
all I have is great service from them last year in my 335 lous you right they all independently owned those guys did a great job for me a

EJT86 are you talking about me? Yes, exhausts has been a money pit for me lol... I'm in boston too OP. Own an e90 as well. I got two of the best exhausts for this car if you want one (selling GT2 exhaust; I also have an extra xpipe for sale). As far as oem mod exhaust, I was gonna have my mechanic, Farley at Eurotech Motorsports in Natick, attempt it but obviously just spent the money on aftermarket exhausts instead.

It is one of the best exhausts for this car. Highly sought after... hard to find too specially for e90. It is pretty loud but also very exotic. I'd keep it but I have a valved exhaust on mine which you can turn on and off and don't wanna take it because it's so convenient for daily driving.

No wasn’t singling you out. I watched tons of clips of all diff exhausts when shopping for mine because once you buy it it’s a PAIN if you don’t like it. It’s just the nature of exhaust shopping, same as tires

Yea I have two sets. ZCPs for winter and Volk ZE40 for summer. There’s always ZCPs for sale on the forums. GTS ones too if you want the murdered look. AG does make reps but there’s better brands that make wheels that are close. Apex, and I think Titan7 have one coming out so you’d save weight with either of those

19s are fine. Snow tire choice is more limited than 18s but either has its trade off. I didn’t 245/265 35-19 when I had the Sottos. Those were great on dry pavement and OK (better than they look) in the snow. This year 255/275 35-19 but you know we haven’t had much snow this year (knock on wood) BUT my first year with the car in 2013 I had used 18s with Blizzaks and they were great, which is why I went back. If you want 18s for snow I’d look into BMW 513Ms

Yea F8X and there’s a guy on here that put them on a few months ago and took some pics. You do need to run spacers with the 513 if I recall but nothing crazy. Yes March finally my snows are coming off in about 5-6 weeks. But seriously anything you wanna know feel free to ask me anytime, I’ve had my car for over 5 years so I’ve picked up a bunch along the way

Yea kinda personal preference. Some people like the halogen look. But if you want LEDs LUX are as good as any other. LUX 180s I believe are the ones to get now. I swapped to LUX long before the 180s but never had a problem. The install is a bitch, not much space to work with
