$132136 a month for an M3!
Just went to configure an M3 on BMWUSA.com and was rather surprised to see it quote me $132136 a month!!
Don't think I'll be applying for finance on-line then! |

LOL. Man, I know there's a recession on and all, but I would have thought the BMW execs would have been able to come up with a better way to raise funds.....

FAIL. BMW's IT/internet/website team should be fired. They are constantly messing up. Getting the M3 configurator up and online took them 3 months.

I was expecting a quote of more like $850-950 based on previous configurations and playing around with options. Guess I'll just have to keep saving! |

True. I wouldn't order from the internet, but it's useful to know what MSRP is so you don't get ripped off. Besides I like to know that I can afford the MSRP and then any discount is a bonus.

Not true, I tired it with $65K down on a $75K car for 60 months at 1.9% APR. I got the same numbers. It is a deeper problem than a missing decimal.

Hmm...$132136 sounds pretty reasonable to me. I don't get what you guys are whining about
All the reason why I try to stray away from buying things on the internet. (though that best buy glitch where they priced a 50" plasma for 10 bucks was a pretty good steal to bad they didnt ship any out ). Not because its not trustworthy (unless your dealing with fleabay) but for these glitches I guess. |

Yeah, it can't be just a missing decimal since $1300/mo is insane, and even more insane with a 15k down payment. That would be like a 20% interest rate or something.
Try an online payment calculator for loan payment info and use edmunds for MSRP and invoice pricing (and the docs on this forum for ED pricing). The configurator is only really useful for visualizing the car. As others have pointed out, BMW USA website is typically buggy or contains incorrect info. |
