Perhaps, but it wasn't something I was expecting. Though if the differential is acting more as an open differential, wouldn't that explain the sensation of lighter steering in low speed turns? Less torque on the inner wheel?

I can't really see how a friction difference in the diff would contribute to a change in steering sensation. Even if we took an extreme case and imagined that the diff went from being filled with molasses to being filled with water, all that would mean is that you would need less throttle to put the same amount of power down to the road since there is now much less driveline friction -- but that wouldn't change the amount of effort required to turn the front wheels. Even if we assume that the change in friction also changed the diff's ability to send more power to one wheel or the other, that still wouldn't change the behavior of the steering or even how the diff itself behaved in low speed corners, since the limited slip characteristic of an LSD only comes into play after the inside wheel starts to slip, which wouldn't occur in low speed turns.

That would be the 4 door civic. It also comes in a 2 door.

This is an old thread, but having owned two e92 M3 base and comp all 13 model, I have to say that comp has heavier steering feel. Base uses 18s PS4S and Comp uses 19s PS4S (comp wheel). I believe both of them have the same tire width. It could be from servotronic software.

M359 wheels are at least 5 pounds heavier per wheel plus the larger tire. That might cause the steering feel difference. Highly doubt there is any special “ZCP” software
