265/30/20 possible on the front wheels?

Looking to try and fit a set of Michelin PSS on my HRE P40s. The wheels are 20x9 in front ET28 and I'm lowered on Eibach springs. It would be combined with 285/30/20 rears on 20x10.5 ET28.

It will rub at the front when at full lock... and then the fender liner plastic in that particular spot will get shaved enough as not rub anymore after a 1000 miles or so.

Nice

So only rubbing at full lock? I notice your offset is a bit further out than mine but my wheel is .5" narrower. I wonder if that will cause an issue. Do you know exactly where on the liner it was rubbing? Was it further into the wheel well or closer to the fender? Front or rear of the wheel well?

If it's that minor, I think I can deal with that for a month or so while the liner wears.

It rubs at about 6 inches from the edge of the fender line, bulkhead-side.

Rubbing is only at full lock, and it is an issue of diameter and not offset or wheel width: 265/30/20 is simply taller than OEM specs.

I'm runing nitto invo 255/30/20 and 295/25/20
No rubbing on the street, but on the track.....
I'm going to get 18' for the track, but I'm also planing to replace my invo next month.
I'm thinking 265/30/20 and 295/30/20
I know the rear is fine, but just worry about the front,
255/30 is 9mm taller than OEM, but 265/25 is 15mm taller.....

Are you getting 265/30 soon?

Not anytime soon. Maybe 6-9 months at the earliest.

295/30/20 is way too big. 285/30/20 is already 1/2" larger than stock.

hmm so with 265/30/20 fronts, my only option is 295/25/20... or 285/30/20. Which is better to pair with 265 front?

I don't really care for the 295/25/20 option because the overall diameter is quite a bit less than stock so you'd actually be reversing the stagger by making your front tire diameter larger than the rear. 285/30/20 is the only size which would maintain the 0.5" stagger. 305/25/20 is also an option but its still smaller than the stock rear tire so again you'd be reversing the stagger. 305/25/20 also could cause problems if you're very low, have an aggressive offset, or run tires with very squared shoulders.

A 265/30/20 is 26.3" tall, while OEM is right at that height. I'm with Tech on this. It will rub possibly. Although, Malek ran the OEM rears on the front with a ET25 ZCP wheel and he didn't rub. I still don't know how as my 26" 255/35/19 is just a hair away from rubbing.

Based on the info provided by Technic and some other vendors who have done this setup before, it appears that it will work with a chance of slight rubbing as Technic described. I'm running 255/30/20 now which is 26.1" and it looks like there is a little bit of room left.
