Coding DSC off

I currently have a 2013 E92, previously had a 2009 and miss having the option to turn DSC off in the M menu.

Any suggestions on who can code this back in for me?

Does your current M not have idrive? I'm kinda missing what you're trying to say.

Sometime around 2012 the option to turn DSC off was removed from the M-drive menu, leaving the center console button the only option. Supposedly this can be coded back in so that you can simply use the M button on the steering wheel.

Go into CIC and code DSC_OFF_CIC as I recall. I did it quite some time ago, but that is how I remember it. Once I coded EURO MDM, I didn't really use DSC off in M mode at all though.

Thanks, ill PM him. BPM wanted $300 to code one single function, $400 if you have to buy their cable.

You may want to consider getting the Protool app from Bimmergeeks and a BT adapter. Very user friendly and then you can do all the coding you want for yourself, and it is not locked to a vin. You can code other bmw cars as well. I have done a ton of coding with it.

As for Alex at Alpinemss, he is a great guy and will do excellent work at a good price should you go that route.

Here are a few coding options to get you started. These are just some of the basics. I highly recommend Euro MDM.
