That was when my car was 3000ish pre-cage. I put 7 day used/5 year old NT01s on my front axle at 2700 lbs. I got 7 more days out of them! My tire wear now is like none. It's fantastic!

I recommend ad08r if you are looking for durability and not ultimate grip. They can handle a tons of abuse and wear a lot slower than any of the 200 tw cheater tires.

Those were my last set of tires and were great until my 11th event. Even though there was tread left they just wouldn't grip anymore. Guess they heat cycled out or something. The RE71R's are about a second faster for me on my local track.

According to their press release, it’s a LRR tire meant to meet certain EUemissions rolling resistance specs for summer tires. Doubt that makes it better for our purposes but who knows. Damn Teslas ruint everything again

please note that I corded both sides. So not a camber issue.
At this point, I am theorizing that this is due to low air pressure. I took it down from 35 cool to 30 cool (as measured before getting on the track) and in one session destroyed the tires (they were not new). Best time was 1:40. Today I had another track day. I had my road set with me. PS4S. I set the pressure to 35 when I got to the track and that's it. did not touch it further. In the rain i did 1:42. In the wet and open track last hour I did 1:38.7. The PS4S finished the day evenly worn and almost no wear that I can see. So this is what I am going to do until I observe otherwise. 35. There is a lot of "information" coming from drivers and it mostly translate into lower the psi to get traction and go faster. In my case it translates to destroy you tires and not going any faster. My camber is -2.9. when it was over 3.0 it destroyed the inside wall. |

Yea, this is weird, but I don't know what Toyo RR like for pressure. I run NT01 at 25 cold, 35 hot and I get very even wear. End up cording the rear tires first, on the inside.

I used to shoot for 38-40psi on my 330ci to prevent rolling over onto the tire's shoulder in corners. It's a significant compromise and not a good idea to do long term.

Basically, yes. If you look at the door jamb sticker, it shows to add more pressure if you will be carrying a lot of people/things.

I think 32psi is too high for my car. I think 30psi is about right but need to try it first.
