They have several 15% off sales per year you can take advantage of when your car is actually converted to track-only.
I think that is a little bizarre that I'm in the process of building the car and they can't sell it to me until I prove the car is essentially complete. But whatever, I'm over it at this point. I think my offer to sign a statement agreeing that it was to be used on only on track was good enough on my end.

Should be more prominent but I think selling this part on a public e-commerce site is no longer a good idea if they have to interview the customer.

On another note, I found out that Macht Schnell is no longer making or selling their X pipe. I'll watch the classifieds. I have other priorities right now like the seats and the dash swap that are probably a better use of my current funds.

How's feedback been on them so far? For better or for worse to RT660

It’s not faster, but should take heat better and last longer than an rt660

I ditched my brake ducts for now, I haven't really needed them so far for time trials. I will figure out a new solution for next season when I start wheel to wheel racing the car.

Can someone point me to a reliable source which lists the current correct oem trans fluid for our 6mt? I am reading conflicting reports of which fluid actually superseded the original MTF-LT-2.

I'm seeing the FFL-4 superseded MTF-LT-2, which is what came in my fcpeuro 6mt change kit, but I'm also seeing the MTF-LT-3 too now.

LT-2 might be discontinued now and replaced with LT-3 and they probably sent FFL-4 by accident?

I use FFL-4 in my DCT which I assumed was a DCT-only fluid explicitly targeted to the dual-clutch.

Bartledoo maybe that thread will help.

I'm just running FFL-4 in my transmission. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

looks like you'll just be okay. LT2 looks to be the same as FFL4 and pentosin says can be used where LT2 would be used.

from there pdf file showing specs.

Didn't get to drive but rode along at the new Ozarks international raceway. Absolutely INSANE track, the elevation changes are extreme and constant.

Also nice it's on the lake so plenty to do after the day

The videos look intense.

SRO was supposed to go there but looks like they shifted to NOLA because of concerns of too many wrecks at Ozarks.

That's what I thought then once out on track it was like 10x crazier. So many crested corners. The point by scene is spooky too. No matter what you do there you have to commit to passes and corners. Lifting seems to take people. But there was only one accident while I was there

They also have the secondary Very large issue of lack of track workers/flaggers/staff. They are so remote there’s hardly any infrastructure for simple things like food/hotels and on top of that they’ve had to call in and pay people from pretty long distances to come work the flags stations. Big problem for anything besides a normal track day

Spent the weekend at VIR for Hyperfest. Very happy with how the car drove with the new cage and all the changes. Between completely gutting the car and removing about 10lbs of wiring I was a bit nervous that the car would have issues but it ran like a champ all weekend.

Also I got the car about 50lbs lighter than it was before install the cage. Current weight is 3450lbs with me (220 with gear) and 1/2 tank of gas.

how much of a difference in chassis rigidity did you notice with the cage? how much faster were you at VIR versus previous times?
