has anyone successfully made a roof rack to carry a set of track wheels? just doing basic calculations, it looks like it might be right at the roof rack load weight limit of 160 lbs...
girlfriend got a dog and wants to take it to track events. ugh.

I've seen it done on a 1 series. Pretty sure he only put 3 of the wheels up there and one in the trunk.

DCT limp mode today in 108*F heat. Time for that do88 DCT cooler. I'll give the manual guys this: No limp mode with your trans.

High enough to trigger yellow temperature alarm and reduce RPM. do88 DCT cooler was flawless; no lag ever even when my motor was crying.

So the engine got too hot, but the transmission was fine? Well, that's good news abut the do88 cooler.

It was great meeting some of you guys in person at Buttonwillow. I picked up a few tips along the way. Not sure if I'll do another July date again though; it was hot, hot, hot. I got a water temp warning on the third session both days. I also started to get some of the DCT lag that nholmes was getting.

Thanks to redpriest and nholmes for letting me stay somewhat cool in their garage.

Looking forward to the next event.
