You could get the Girodisc replacement rings instead:

https://girodisc.com/380x35mm-replac...tor-rings-d52/

Contact Adam at buybrakes though

He will get them to you for less than the $900 advertised everywhere

It was the same part number for the ST hats when I ordered them. The stickers are there when they come with rings.

I got a great price custom ordering StopTech parts from ProParts USA. Got the ST60 calipers for less than everywhere else was offering.

I'll be rebuilding my old calipers and their rebuild part prices are far better than other places.

I've been tracking on and off for over 5 years but I've never bought brand new brakes, decided to change that after the PFC debacle... Will go great with the MCS 2WR & MKRennsport Race Wing (2.6kg airfoil!!)

First shakedown with the new parts on the 27th at Buttonwillow with SDC

I bought a set from a forum member which ended up having horrible corrosion on the pistons. After this, I found out that the parts are almost impossible to find... Then I bought a second set of calipers aaaaand they also had the same piston issues. Annoying situation but the seller offered a refund so I decided to go the simple route with readily available parts (AP 9668).

Anyone have a set of toe plates/camber plates they really like for DIY alignments? Dropped my car off with Harold HP Autosport today for upcoming track day and he suggested I look into it for future street/track adjustments at home. I ordered the SPL adjustable rear toe arms through him and having them installed during the process.

Plates are quick and dirty, and the Longacre plates are still pretty good because light simple and repeatable, and IMO infinitely more important for making sure you're still ok at the track than a camber gauge, which you can read the tires to optimize

https://www.amazon.com/Longacre%C2%A...64925332&psc=1

But I like strings to make sure you haven't screwed your thrust angles

I use that exact system at home ^
Has served me well, across various BMW platforms. Quick to setup, especially if you only use on one car and don't need to readjust the arms each time.

I've done alignments on a Hunter alignment rack and using jack stands, conduit and strings. I consistently get a better result from the stands, conduit, and strings.

It might take a second time with the Hunter rack. You can put the re-rack the car, put the tires dead center into the front toe plates and you get slightly different readings. Not off enough to make a grocery getter driver notice a difference. My theory is that the Hunter rack is for making money. Its all automated, literally takes 15 minutes to rack the car, put the sensors on the wheels, steer the car and then make the adjustments. If you have cars rolling on and off the alignment rack all day doing $200 alignments...you get my drift.

Do you have any kind of swivel plate for under the wheels or do they move easy enough with some muscle? Also do you use a steering wheel lock to keep it locked center?

You want some kind of slip plates, the steering lock, and enough weight to replicate yourself in driver seat.
