Steering wheel removal? Slits for airbag covered

The slits for the airbag are covered in vinyl unless I'm looking/feeling the wrong spot. I'd hate to puncture a hole in it.

Just feel for the unmistakeable dent with your fingers. There will be a precut slit there

Stupid ass iPhone won't let me post pics now...I had circled where the slit should be but if you look at the pic if you look at the turn signal lever there's a dent at 4 o'clock

Is that the dent you are referring to? There is no slit in it, I'd have to make one

There actually is a slit already made. Just put the screw driver on the intention and it will open up. I swapped out my steering wheel today and wondered the same thing.

The slit is there, but it's well camouflaged. Just put the screwdriver thru it gently

Mine looked the same when I removed my wheel last weekend, it is well hidden!
