The new Viper is really supposed to be a world class car with a much higher degree of refinement. From the initial information and looks, it has succeeded on all counts.
There is no doubt that America is back with a vengeance. Quality and performance at competitive prices. The Viper will base at under $100k. It will be interesting to see how the C7 Corvette answers back too!!

No official prices yet. From what I've read, they are aiming in GTR/ZR1 range. Everyone seems to think mid-90k to ~110k. Hope they can stick to these price points. It will be a market killer in that range

I drive a friend's 2009 viper 8.4, and I'm guessing it is underrated because it made 586 whp and it only had catback exhaust and a mild tune. Everything else is stock. Can this be true? Or was the dyno messed up? I also put 3 car length against a zr1.

Wow. They brought back the old school styling which I was in love with but the front end does look soft. Top profile and side profile look freakin awesome and that engine sounds like a BEAST.
