Product definitely works. Tried Leatherique but didn't work as well, or at least as quickly. I find the Mouse Conditioner makes the leather feel really slick though. Maybe I am just not buffing it off well enough. I actually went over it again with the cleaner to get the Conditioner off so I don't slide around in the seat so much.

Image below is cleaning one side and the other side was taped.

I wrapped the side gills in matte black and tinted the signal a while back but figured I would post images. I have more wrap to do the hood grills at a later date after a paint correction.

Had to file down some of the plastic to get the tabs out. I think typically the whole thing doesn't come out at once and the tabs come out more easily of the grill part, not on the passenger side for me though.

Wrapped and ready to reinstall.

Before and after.

Nice touch, looks good!

My black seats look pretty good but these photos sure tempt me to try that AmmoNYC!

I'm undecided if I want to have the car paint corrected and ceramic coated.

Or if I want to have the bumper painted then everything corrected and ceramic coated.

Obviously painting the bumper costs more. Not sure it's worth it without also doing ppf and I'm worried about the paint match.

I could also just do nothing considering it's a 10 year old car and it's just not going to be perfect.

Unless it’s really bad up front, Id just do Dr Colorchip + paint correction + ceramic coating.

I did a handful of things.

I installed a K&N drop in filter. Might swap to a new paper filter soon. I know people say these let in more dirt.

I also took out the hood vents and wrapped them with matte black vinyl.
Pretty easy to take out and put in with plastic trim tools. If the wrap fails because of heat or whatever I will just buy from ind store. At this point I just need swap the chrome badge on the back and decide want I want to do with the chrome exhaust tips. Need to figure out if I am going to change the exhaust first before I mess with tips.

Got a Tune2Air bluetooth player which finally makes the steering wheel skip buttons work even with Spotify, however next button is the bottom button which seems odd, but whatever. Song data doesn't show, maybe because android? Also it disconnects and reconnects randomly every 20 minutes or so, not sure if that can be fixed, tried having the dongle outside of the armrest, no dice.

Yeah the reversed skip buttons and no song data is because of Android. I had the same in my old E90 M3. Mine never disconnected though, if you got it on Amazon, I would exchange it. My phone was connected to the Tune2Air and my BMW at the same time and had no issues.

Shouldn't feel slick at all. You gotta really strip away the oil/dirt/grime and start fresh. Possibly doing a couple passes with the cleaner first before locking it down with the conditioner.

Set an appointment for March 10 to get paint corrected and coated. Bumper needs a respray but then it's just going to get chips again and I'd want euro bumper or shave down the reflectors so it adds a bunch of cost to it. I figure if I repaint the bumper later it won't really need to be corrected, just coated, which I can probably handle myself if needed. Condition of paint has plenty of swirls and evidence of daily driving. Also products just don't seem to react to the paint as well as my other car, hoping a polish and coating will help.

Also seriously considering Eventuri Carbon Fiber Plenum. More sound without making daily driving obnoxious, doesn't have the legal issues of a lot of the exhaust options, looks OEM besides the Eventuri logo on the lower part so probably passes visual inspection by most authorities, looks cool but I don't care about that because it's under the hood but it doesn't hurt.

It's amazing the color that was brought back into the Silverstone Leather. Great work on that. I am tempted to try this out on my GLE63 as it has the white interior.

Update in the tune2air if anyone else has one. Putting a song on my phone in the music directory seems to allow the steering wheel skip hurting to work. Setting my phone Bluetooth settings to only allow tune2air to control media but not phone or contacts fixed it cutting out every 15 minutes and also allows the car to handle Bluetooth phone calls correctly.

I fixed it by telling my phone tune2air was media only and not phone or contacts in my phone Bluetooth settings. No problems since.

I'm in the same boat. Paint is in excellent condition on my SG car (appears to be garage kept its entire life) but the front bumper is rock chip city. Keep going back and forth between correction, respray, euro bumper, etc. Always end up just leaving it and telling myself it's 'character'..

Also feel you on the Eventuri - such a beautiful piece but you pay dearly for it. I also live in Florida which apparently cares very little about the environment and lets me do whatever I want with my exhaust. Have also thought about trying out the BMS cabin air filters. I had them on my 335 and the increase in intake/turbo noise was incredible. I've read the same with the M3 and wonder how it compares to the increase in engine noise from the Eventuri, certainly a more economical option..

DINAN Intake does have increased induction noise as well. Way less expense vs Carbon Plenum.

Paired with MPerformance, I am very happy with this OEM+ setup

Looking great!
I have the Dinan intake (and a quieter exhaust) if you want to WOT my car to get a sense of the sound. I’m happy with the intake, it did add a little response and induction noise, but nothing super dramatic.
