Plastic replacements to side under-tray felt pieces

Found these while browsing around on carparts.com

https://www.carparts.com/engine-spla...#91;year]=2008

They look like they are made of plastic instead of the oem felt and about 1/2 the price of oem pieces. Has anyone tried them as yet?

I have the 1 piece aluminum under-tray so I have no use for them but thought others might be interested.

I didn't find a replacement for the center section.

Edit March 2023:
Turner now has a plastic center piece option and side pieces. Must be recent, haven't seen these before.

Great find. Do they make the center version? Per website, it seems they have fitment information wrong on the center splash shield.

Yea the center piece they have listed doesn't look correct. As I said in the OP, I didn't find a center section.

Pls do a comparison vs the stock pieces too. I'm keen to see how flexible these are vs stock.

Turner has only the belly panel in stock; the wings have an August ship date.

I ordered the belly panel from Turner and the wings from car parts totaling about the same as the Turner kit ($230).

I’ll chime in when the parts are delivered.

I used the link at the top of the thread, scrolled down to similar products, and voila.

Already got the center piece from Turner. This is decently strong plastic and should fare much better than the OEM composite. It’s noticeably heavier too, then again OEM weighs next to nothing.

The center piece is supposed to be an exact replica of the OEM piece and therefore share all the same aerodynamics, correct?

The rest came in and matches the center piece pretty well. Overall I’m pleased with what I see so far. My car is a bit low so it’s only a matter of days before I find out how durable it is.

Fitment is meh; you get what you pay for. The center piece fit very well and the wings were a bit of a struggle. My bumper is pretty jacked up so it may fit better on better examples. Also, OEM composite had a bit of flex, this plastic does not so you gotta wrestle it a bit to line up the holes.

They all lined up with the old parts so I’d say it’s a good bet.
