The update didn't work the first time, still showed the same version number. Plugged USB in again, and it ran the update again.

Booted back to the reset home screen fine, was able to move the selection around then the box froze. Can still switch back and forth to iDrive.

Anyone know how to reboot the unit when it's frozen?

No luck pushing buttons to get out to restart so pulled the power cables out of the box. Started back up and said updating, finished fine and box working again, but still on the update from weeks ago.

Seems definitely like its the same. Timestamps are different but the files are the same size. Since its a different timestamp, the hash is different though.

When I ran the update that was shared with me, it had the same system date as the last update Michael sent me of Aug 15 (as viewed from the base Limecet menu). So not sure it's any different from the last update Michael sent me on Aug 21.

Yeah chatted with Michael and confirmed it's not different from the mid-August one, and that I won't receive an updated on today. Earliest is tomorrow, promises improved connection time too.

I’ve chatted with Michael as well he told me the connection will be faster 2 sec or so and that we should be able to use auto connect again without the need to switch with menu button when we start our cars.
He also said it would be ready on Friday or Saturday

Let’s test it out and post our findings here

I just installed the latest update Michaël send me from kremersino. Auto connect functions are working no need to switch input manually anymore. Only thing that anointed me is the static sound on the microphone. Is there someone here that has an answer on this issue. ??

Installed the latest update that was in my inbox from Michael this morning, audio doesn't seem any better (still very flat), haven't spent long enough getting in and out of the car to know if my connection issues have been resolved.

App version has changed, system version remained the same.

That is disappointing. I don't think they can fix the flat audio.

Doesn't seem like it.

Michael indicated they were working on a new batch of units based on their wired unit that supports wireless (this may have been mention by others recently), and that they're be looking at some sort of exchange program.

I mentioned my brother's Joyauto wired version is actually produced by Kremersino for JoyAuto. The external housing looks exactly the same as the one we purchased from Kremersino but the wireless one has those little WiFi antennae coming out of the side there.

My brother's E90 Diesel has the same 676 HiFi audio and we compared them back to back and the E90D sounds way better in quality compared to the current WiFi model we have.

Hi I have a 135 with original cic
and the steering wheel controls don't work.
it is not an installation problem. I think it is a cable defect or it is not well emulated (joyeauto)

the series 1 turns on the board like a Christmas tree and erases the service until I turn it off and turn it on again

I sent many screenshots of ISTA showing the errors generated by the module to my car.

the sound is bad if you compare it by connecting the iphone directly to the aux

what should be tested if you can put an external DAC compatible with android and send the audio output

Are you sure the dip switches are configured correctly on the box? I forgot to set mine before installing it, and this is what my iDrive displayed. It's possible a misconfiguration could make some features work and others like the steering controls not.

the dip swich probed it in the 3 modes for cic.
Not having a native configuration for series 1 gives me the errors

Tried the update. No improvement in call quality over Carplay for me. Still lots of background (engine) noise and low voice; it's essentially unusable for making calls so I default to factory bluetooth for that.

I don't detect any added bass in streaming audio and Michael confirmed that's not something they worked on in this release.

So my wireless connection is still buggy, worked the first few times (faster connection too), but it's back to dropping out, or not connecting at all. As I mentioned before (and others confirmed), no improvement in audio.
