I have a e92 m3 manual diff (3.85 gear ratio) with 80k miles for sale or if you have a e92 M3 DCT diff (3.15 gear ratio) I will trade for that.

I am located in CT, I would prefer you to be local unless you would like to pay for shipping

Thanks for looking !

3.85 is not a commonly used final drive ratio for DCT. It's much too short.

Might be quicker to just buy a used 3.15 FD from someone. There should be tons lying around. Heck someone might even give it to you for free if you ask nicely.

I don't see why not? Everything should be the same except for the final drive ratio. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than me will chime in soon.

Nothing is wrong with it, no noises or clunks, all three sides move as they should smoothly. I just need a 3.15 dct diff instead of the manual one

Yeah I'm not too knowledgeable about drivetrain so if someone does chime in that would be appreciated

Maybe reach out to Diffsonline.com? You can buy a 3.15 from them as well.

You should be able to use the ring/pinion from any large pumpkin 3.15 diff from a junkyard in your diff and have it rebuilt.

I'd call DiffsOnline or other diff builder.
