Differential Rub Noise

Pretty sure I have seen posts about changing the fluid and adding an additive. When cold and conducting a sharp or U turn I get a rubbing or light groan sound from the rear suspect the differential.

2011 with 64k and having the fluid changed today but has anyone else experienced this noise?

yep, super common. if it bugs you, get the fluid with the friction modifier to resolve it.

It's a groan and clunking noise. Very common with LSDs. That's how you know it's working (among other ways)
