High pitched supercharger like noise from 5000rpm to redline

My stock 63,000km e93 m3 DCT is making a supercharger like whine between 5000 to 8000 rpm, in gear and also in neutral, but it makes less noise in neutral, I checked the transmission oil it's full, power steering fluid full, the sound is coming front the front of the engine, I feel like it might be one of the pulleys, has anyone experienced the same problem ?

There's been a lot of threads started where people hear that whine at the front of the engine. I can't remember what exactly is causing it (could be multiple things), but it could be a pulley, power steering pump is on the way out, alternator could be on the way out, or your belts if they're old. Do a search and see what you can find. Other than that everything sounds good to me from what I can hear in the video.

The high pitch of the sound is a clue to what could be the culprit. My money is on the alternator bearing. A serpentine belt pulley bearing is larger and makes more of a lower pitch, groaning or rumble type noise. Due to the higher pitch of your under hood, front of engine, noise I recommend checking the alternator bearing first.
