Missing Downshift Blip e9x m3

Car on alpine tune

Car downshift with no issues for months

Was driving earlier and realised no more downshift blip in M or Non M mode, maxed on S4-5 also no diff

The downshift became very quiet (i know because mine was a decatted pipe)

Please advise

Double-check if your power button is on when you're in M mode. The power button usually is the one associated with blipping during downshifting.

Problem solved

Removed the pedalbox and plug in Ista+, in throttle position, i see the difference in variant for pedal sensor 1&2 are 107%

Reset it and car drive normally for now... downshift blip is back...

why would you need a pedal box for this car? those are usually for other cars that need their "input" adjusted to make it seem faster. the M3 already has this feature... called "power" lul

We all know the power button doesnt add power, but a pedal box is good for 20HP...Thats why

Hello!

I have the same problem, yesterday the car was blipping in M and Non-M mode as usual, today I noticed that it is not blipping anymore, only blips in M mode. I haven’t done any mod, the only thing out of the ordinary since the problem is that I always turn the car on and drive with the key fob in my pocket, and yesterday, for some unknown brain issue I tried to put the keyfob inside to turn the car on…. Tried to see if it was something with the S5/D5 stuff but it was in S5.

I will try to see if my mechanic can check with ista

Just throwing my experience/.02 out there considering I had this issue, although intermittently, not that long ago. I took my car and had a full transmission service done (fluids, filters, new gaskets, etc) and my mechanic noted that I was really low on trans fluid. I would never have been able to tell since the plastic cover collected all the leaking fluid. Prognosis came down to it being low on fluid and not having adequate pressure at times
