I don't think it was. Most of the people who have seen the Blob's posts in the past can tell this was an insult thinly disguised as a joke or whatever. He keeps posting the same thing, "Read the title: I have a lot of respect for Americans" but fails to explain how the video means he has respect.

you have to admit that this was very funny. I'm sure these type of people are everywhere. Although I'd have to say that it reflects the western countries and their people and how careless they are about what is happening in other parts of the world. This is why the biased-media and the propaganda from the government can so easily fool us all. I know I'm probably gonna get flamed for this, but its just my opinion.

I'm not going to flame you, but I disagree. I like these videos because I laugh at how stupid people can be, no matter what nationality. I do not like it when these videos are used to try and depict a certain nationality as "stupid". I don't think this reflects at all on Western culture or countries. I wonder how many people they had to interview to get the answers they did, its not like they will include the footage of people who actually got the questions right. I think almost everyone on E90post would be able to answer the questions without a problem, and if they showed me that map I would have cracked it over their head. So the video should be taken for what it is, just a video of stupid people. Their nationality, race, social status, whatever shouldn't be considered no matter who the video is of. That is why videos like this, although funny, annoy me. The main goal is to make a certain population look retarded, but it is obviously edited to only reflect the stupid ones. I don't agree with doing that, because I could go to, in this case Australia, and do the same exact thing. That doesn't mean all Australians are dumb.

For those who find the video offensive. I give no sympathy. It's no different than watching Jay Walking on Jay Leno. I respect Americans they are my neighbours. Also, I have family members and friends that live in America. Americans are terrific people and I really appreciate most of the Americans I've meet. Lastly, I did not produce the video and I am not the person doing the interviewing if some of you people are a little confused. Please don't blame Canada as the video was produced in Australia.
