Has anyone had Total Auto Protect?

I found this company online called Total Auto Protect that offered me an extended warranty plan for my BMW M3 and im wondering if anyone has any experience with them. They have been around since 2006 and have excellent reviews.

My 2012 M3 CPO Warranty ran out and I know its gonna cost me an arm and a leg if I have to repair it on my own. They said I can take it to any dealer I'd like so thats a plus. The guys supposed to call me back in a few days and I'm just looking to review all my options.

From the consensus around here, I believe the E92 M3 is a pretty reliable durable car (excluding the RBs and all that jazz) compared to it's N54/N55 relatives.

I don't necessarily believe you will lose your shirt over owning an M3.

But back onto the subject here...what is the terms and the cost for their plans?

24 Months 24k Miles $100 Deductible For the premier plan. I saved 25% off what the dealership quoted me - I think the quote was for $1975 or less

About the same price as my Continental Gold warranty for my 335i. Mine was for 3 years but the amounts per year work out to be the same.

I would get a total breakdown of what they would cover. Like the Premiere as front suspension checked off but I highly doubt they cover every single component.

Here is what I recommend; call your dealership, or whomever you have in mind to service your car and see if they have worked with them. I did this with Auto Delta Group when I was shopping around and my dealership told me that would not work with them as they don't pay bills, or you would have to pay first and file a claim with Auto Delta. This was a red flag (found out later they are just a scam) and I decided to just brave it and and do the maintenance myself. Had the RB's done. No issues since owning for a year now.
