Seattle area Akrapovic?

Hey guys, anyone in the Seattle area with a full Akra they wouldn't mind letting me hear? I'm casually in the market for a used one, as I think I've decided to ditch my stock X and MPE, so let me know on the sale/trade front too...

Even the full exhaust is pretty soft and low key imo. I havnt had the chance to hear just the slip on though.

I have a slip on - in Seattle.... Greenlake area... but also have the x-pipe which I plan to install after I get emissions done in June. I've heard both full and slip on and they're pretty similar.

From inside the car, the system is not loud at all and really has zero drone, but that's why I bought it. I cannot have a loud system on my car. Admittedly, it is very loud at cold start up, so I may look to tune-out cold start, but it quiets down immediately after. From outside the car, you can actually hear it and it's noticeably louder. My wife says she can hear me coming up the street towards the house, but I really don't have much more noise from inside the car (unless I get on it, and even then it's only a little louder).

You're welcome to hear the full system when I have it installed, but that won't be for a few months

sweet! yeah, please pm me when its installed. I think green lake or tacoma is same distance for me, so who ever is free first

I was informed by a rep that slip on was like a lvl 3 sound and full was like a 5-6...

I want it to be a tad louder inside with windows up but I don't want drive in the morning and be loud and annoying if that makes any sense....

sansin - did you buy the delete-r as well with it? where do you plan to get it installed at? i probably will order late may in time for summer hopefully

i'm thinking about delete-r or tune. probably will go with the delete-r since i don't really want to mess with engine management. i had the slip-on installed at prova motorsports and will have the x-pipe done there as well. Prova is chris benny's shop; he's one of the original Group 2 members. Group 2 is good as well... they're my go-to's.

@sansin, I'm in Ballard so we're close. Yeah I don't think my neighbors love cold start even with MPE haha.

My full system is coming off the car in 3 weeks or so, hit me up soon if you want to hear it while its still on (taking car back to stock and parting out the mods)

i have not yet - emissions done, but now i need to find a Delete-R and have had some issues with throttle actuators that i've been dealing with. i will get to this, but sounds like kamber might have a setup you can check out in the meantime!

If you're just doing the akrapovic slip-on, just do it yourself. It's really easy and not that time consuming.
