Do we have any group of local dfw folks that do track days or hpde. I am looking to start doing a bunch this year, but always more fun with a group. Im a beginner. Went overboard on preventative stuff for the car but should be good for a while, lol

Check out trackjunkies.org and thedriversedge.net. PM me if you have questions about anything. See you at the track.
Regards,
Daniel

Lots and lots of track time available around here. trackjunkies is a good community of mostly Texas guys that track and race often.

Hallett isn’t too far for you - worth adding to your list!

I might go, but will probably wait until the week before to make my final decision.

Food if you don't wanna go get any. I will be there as long as weather is good, I go get food at a local spot.

Air gauge and torque wrench for lugs. You can borrow these if you don't have them. Doghouse and Gspeed are onsite if you have a problem.
