Replacing throttle body actuators locally

To GVA people, where do you recommend to replace thise parts? I would like to avoid dealership if there is a reputable shop for a job like this.

Have you tried CG motorsports or Nixon? They specialized in BMW. Although their rate is almost as much as the dealer. You can also try racing greed, I trust them.

buy new ones, or risk the rebuilt unit failing sometime soon again. friend of mine bought rebuilt ones and they failed in 2 months, had to go through the trouble of getting them replaced. i think the downtime isn't really worth to save $300?
and fcp euro has a lifetime warranty on their parts anyways, so you'll be fine till 50,000 miles again.

I followed the one in the diy section. Got mine new from fcp euro.
If you decide to diy, make sure you have right tools. If you are short in tools, it will take a lot longer than expected. With right tools, it can be done in 2 hours.

That reminds me of the first oil change I did myself. 3 hours cause I didn't have the right tools.

Only toughest part is disconnecting the plugs, and removing the plenum. My plenum was never removed for 10y and it wouldnt budge for a while. Everything else is straight forward.

Before you pit plenum back on, accelate to see if the throttle balves open and close. If not, check your connector. It might be loose. I found out my connector wasnt tight and that was after plenum was back on. Had to go back and do everything again.
