Reputable Auto Body in Kitsap County

Been quoted $2300 to fix and replace my front bumper from shop in Seattle. I think that is a little steep so I'm looking around. Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!

Not a lot of detail in your post, what happened to it? Either they fix it or replace it, they can't be doing both.

Go with an oem euro bumper from ecstuning or non-oem euro bumper from earoplugs probably close to half off oem price, maybe $500 for paint/labor, removal/install is a breeze

Hey Nitro...you seem to have the worst luck with many things related to M3 ownership?

Between the purchase experience and how the car arrived, the recent self service car wash issues, and now this $2300 estimate to fix the original bumper!

That price is outrageous. Mind sharing which shop in Seattle, I'm curious?

Anyhow, you can buy a brand new OEM European (no reflectors) front bumper, painted in Interlagos Blue, for $1699 (unpainted for $1099)! Install is not be that difficult, just need to remove some screws (lots of DIYs online) on the underside, up top by the kidneys, and wheel wells, and you're on your way.

Good luck getting your front bumper fixed.

just buy a Euro bumper. or North America. oem. $520 bucks, should cost no more than $300 to paint. extra $50 to have them install it. or you can do it and save the cash.

I remember when I went to Pacific Auto Body, another BMW certified auto body shop to have my rear bumper repainted. They quoted me 7h of labor to remove and install the bumper lol. Is it possible to remove the bumper ourselves and let they do the painting?

Metro is a very good shop. Don't skimp on this. You get what you pay for. Anyone that thinks you can get a front bumper painted for $300 is either buddies with the owner or hasn't experienced a good paint job. No exceptions

Instead of getting OEM does anyone have any experience with Aeuroplug?

I've been considering them for the bumper. They did a GB on carbon side skirts last year and thought it was a quality product. Can't speak for their bumpers though. I may just give it a shot and see what happens. There seems to be good reviews on the ECS replica bumpers so that's another route.

Those of you that have had front bumper work done, have you gone anywhere with good results other than Metro and Haury's in the Seattle area? Just want to make sure I'm getting a good variety of quotes. Planning to replace my front with a new Euro soon, maybe get a hood respray while I'm at it.

Also, I've already coded off my headlight washers and will ask whichever shop to disconnect and plug the hoses, but is there anything else I would need to ask the shop to do regarding the headlight washers? Do the nozzle parts that normally stick through the washer holes remove easily, anything special I should make sure to note to the shop, etc.

Much appreciated!
