Myrtle Beach

So tomorrow early morning around 1-2 AM we’ll be leaving Miami making the trip up to Myrtle Beach (ETA 10-11 hours) in my 335. So far we have some pirate or whatever dinner planned and the aquarium (wife planned it). Please school me on Myrtle Beach as all I could think of are Mustangs acting stooopid lol.

Great sport bars?
Great food spots?
How are the waves?
Might get my manual trans/diff fluid changed while up there so any shop recommendations?
I heard there is a water park nearby....how is it?
Jet Ski/Canoe rental recommendations?

Last question, how far is Tail of The Dragon?

Yeah, google can solve all this but I trust my friendly brothers and sisters here in OT. One big happy family...

Thanks in advance!

Your 335 will be fine, I’m mostly kidding.

The Tail of the Dragon is 400 miles west, btw, if that influences your decision.

Tail of The Dragon will have to wait. Meeting up with family and wifey will bitch if I escaped for a day.

Edit, we’ll be there for about 5-6 days.

Yeah, it’s quite a hike from the coast to Deals Gap, NC.

I’ve been to MB more times than I can remember, from growing up to joining my sister and her family there more recently. It’s tradition for us to have one dinner at Sea Captain’s House and one lunch at Hamburger Joe’s. If you want a really nice Italian meal away from the bustle of MB, head down the coast a bit to Murrells Inlet and have dinner at Costa.

Do you play golf? MB is one of the nation’s most popular golf destinations for the sheer number of courses in the area.

My girlfriend and her family were there last week. They did the Pirate show dinner business and said it was pretty cool. When I was there a few years ago I spent most of my time on the beach. If you don't mind to splurge on dinner check out Rioz. It's a Brazillian steakhouse. If you've never eaten at one, this is a good one to start with. You're looking at about $50 a plate but it's beyond worth it. Don't make plans after you eat there as you will be worthless. Food coma. As long as you have the disc green side up, they will continue to deliver some of the best grilled meat you have ever had in your life to your table.

Haven't heard about anything like this in the Carolinas this summer. I was in Hilton Head a few weeks back, and the only obnoxious thing I saw in the water was a lot of seaweed and teenagers.

Just arrived not too long ago. Made a stop over in Savannah, GA and averaged about 26 MPG. Was on it a few times but drove somewhat moderate. Can’t post pics through my phone but if someone can post pics for me I’ll text you and you can post for me as a favor! I’ll send nudes of me if that entices anyone.

Myrtle Waves is the water park.
Second on Rioz, it's pretty damned good.
Broadway at the Beach has a little of everything if you get by there - bars, food and nightlife.
If you're looking for something less commercial head south to Murrells Inlet./ LOTS of great bars on the marshwalk.

If you see a Estoril E36, Beep!

Never dealt with them personally. We have referred a few customers to them that have Mercedes that were older than I was comfortable working on. Never heard any complaints.
