Was wondering if you could do me a HUGE favor. I am considering building a 1950's sports car from scratch and using the S65 engine as the engine (high cylinder count, high rpm). Think a Shelby Cobra kit car but not a Cobra and not a kit. Anyway, I want a very low hood line which makes knowing the engine dimensions critical. The internet doesn't seem to know the exterior dimensions of this engine. Since your engine is sitting out on the floor, could you possibly use a tape measure and send me some dimensions?
I would need: -Bottom of the oilpan to the top of the throttle bodies. -Width of the valve covers from outside to outside in the back of the motor and also the front of the motor (front is wide because of the cam drive). -Width of the headers, assuming they are wider than the valve covers. Beyond that, what is left of your motor? Thanks so much, Tony |
