Anyone know how this sound compares to the M Performance Exhaust sound? Is it louder or similar?

Got an extra OEM exhaust. I just need to tools to do the rest and the solid pipes. Plan to heat paint can flat black and reinstall. Finding the tools is always the issue if you want to do yourself.

I see you stated that you used a Mig welder for the box. Is box made from aluminum, austenitic stainless...? i can't seem to get a magnet to stick and would like to give the mod a shot, but want to make sure I am using the correct wire.

The muffler is stainless steel and double walled, the stainless full pipes inside the muffler have a diameter from 63.5 mm >>> 2.5 inch !
Watch the video again on page 1,than you will have no surprises when you start with the mod.

This may be really dumb idea... but any thoughts to using something to cover up all the perforated holes instead of hack it out and replacing. Something similar to warping with metal tape?

I will just be honest, I think it sounds like ..no good.. (staying politically correct, but you can guess the word). Again everyone is entitled to expressing their opinion. I have yet to hear an after market exhaust that sounds decent. Most sound either bad, real bad, or horrible. The MPE and Gintanni full pipes are the only one mediocre but acceptable.
