Strange Request: VINs with Port Installed BMW accessories
I have a very strange request. I am building a 2011 E92 M3 for FS in SCCA and it requires that any accessories be "port installed" accessories and requires proof. We are allowed to install them if they are after the fact, but I need proof that they were installed at the port vs dealer.
If you have a VIN with any of the BMW accessories installed at the port and don't mind sharing your VIN with me (I dont need your name or anything). This is so that I can pull a build sheet for your car for proof that it was a port installed accessory for the rules committee. I don't need any that just had the BMW performance exhaust as that is free in the class, but stuff like the ZCP splitters, carbon mirror caps, carbon spoiler, carbon-gloss interior package would be awesome. Thank you for your time! |

My 2013 E92 has several port installed accessories...the only indication of this in a standard VIN check is the 326 rear spoiler delete which only prove that the car left the factory without a rear spoiler, but usually means that it will get a nM Performance spoiler at the port or at the dealer. A dealer generated Design/MSRP will give actual MSRP of the car, which in my case was $82,784.00 and then you can figure out how it was equipped originally. Then plug in the MPerformance prices, Front CF splitters, $911.00, Blk grills $162.00, CF mirror caps $712.00, rear spoiler $622.00, MPerformance muffler $4067.00, aluminum pedals $215.00 etc.

I also found a dealer generated print out of the service record that gives ALL options as ordered, called a Davis Report. May be hard to get if you do not own the car.

UPSROD, would you be willing to share your dealer build sheet and DAVIS report with all personal information and VIN blacked out? I've tried asking BMW USA directly for this info, and they told me they can only share info on my specific car (which is a Canadian car ordered without the CF accessories). I'll share the dealer bill of sale for my car as an act of good faith. |

Give me your cell number and I will send a picture of it...not sure that I get you guys point if your cars weren't ordered with extra M Performance accessories.
